New GM for Greater China reinforces regional team in Olympics run-in
Quantel is delighted to announce the appointment of Johnsen Yue to the position of General Manager for Quantel’s China operations. Yue will be at Quantel’s Beijing regional head office; he will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager, Phil Roebuck and newly appointed Business Development Executive, Josh Che.

In his new position, Yue is assuming responsibility for Quantel’s business, marketing and sales channel development throughout Greater China. Working alongside the UK headquarters management team, Yue will also be responsible for continuing to build excellent communication between the company and its customers throughout the region.
"We’re delighted to have Johnsen Yue on board,” said Phil Roebuck. “He is well known in the Broadcast market in China and will bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to Quantel as we seek to raise the profile of our Broadcast Systems expertise ahead of next year’s Beijing Olympics."
Yue has thirteen years’ experience in the Post & Broadcast industry, most recently as Business Development & Sales Director for Avid Technology. He has also served as the General Manager of the broadcast business unit of CHESS Computer Ltd and prior to this he was the founder of Nantain Digital Studio, the well-known post production house in China where his time as an artist and animator was put to good use.
“Quantel has splendid history in China. I am very fortunate to be joining Quantel at an exciting and forward-thinking time,” said Yue. “The company is undergoing many positive changes and I feel China is at the forefront of how we now wish to be seen - as a leader within the marketplace for Post and Broadcast products.”
