Samy Keghida appointed VP of Sales for S. Europe, Middle East and Africa
Quantel further strengthens its position in key markets
Newbury, UK, 14 May 2008: Samy Keghida has joined Quantel as Vice President of Sales for Southern Europe, the Middle-East and Africa (SEMEA). He will be based in Quantel’s French office, located just outside Paris and will be in charge of co-ordinating and supporting sales teams in a great diversity of countries: France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and Turkey; Middle East countries including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, as well as Dubai; all of Africa, including strong emerging markets such as Morocco, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Kenya and South Africa.

Keghida was formerly Director of Sales (SEMEA) of Harris Broadcast-Encoda Systems, SGT as well as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Worldwide Sales of e-VOD, mainly in charge of managing commercial teams selling broadcast and software solutions to key broadcasters.
Keghida is a graduate of HEI Paris and has a PhD in International Relations, Strategy and Diplomacy as well as a Master's Degree in International Business Administration. He speaks an impressive number of languages, including English, French, Arabic, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese.
